La Casa Rosa, a family portrait series by Italian photographer Bea De Giacomo, tells the complex story of her large, socially diverse family.

The project came from Bea’s longtime wish to photograph her family, particularly her younger relatives, who remain unaware of the large-family chaos that surrounds them.

She desired to build a new relationship with these younger relatives before they leave their native Italian countryside to follow their own path. Through a staged situation, as models in a fashion shoot, Bea captures the honest reactions of the youngest generation of her family.
